The Phenomenon Quite Good Investor. Psychoanalytic View

Student: Bredikhina Olga

Supervisor: Andrey V. Rossokhin

Faculty: Faculty of Social Sciences

Educational Programme: Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Business Consulting (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2016

The research of the concept and behavioral characteristics of a rather good investor based on the theory by Vinnikott allows us to draw a conclusion that the basic concepts of the unconscious, i.e. the mental reality, fantastic objects, the dual object relations, the divided states and collective feeling, have been suggested in order to capture the sense of these realities. The two main advantages of a psychoanalytic approach are that, firstly, it rather unambiguously concentrates on the connection of thinking and feelings and ,secondly, by developing the concept of the dynamic in the unconsciousness, as well as the concepts of dual mental states, it is capable to explain how people can change their point of view when the situation changes.
