The Development of Logistics System of a Food Manufacturing Company

Thesis work on the theme "Improving the logistics system of a company in the food industry" consists of an introduction, business analysis, analysis of the functioning of logistics system, study of scientific and practical research papers, practical application and conclusion. The aim of this work is to develop practical recommendations for improving the logistics system of a company under study. The object of research is the logistics system of a manufacturing company. The scope of activity of the enterprise - production of frozen semi-finished meat products. In this paper the following main objectives were addressed: 1. Swipe-to-date organizational and economic analysis of the logistics system of production plant, in which "bottlenecks" in the subsystem of production (in-plant transport processes, the process of storing and supplying raw materials to the plant, the process of "shock" freezing), and distribution (missed sales during the promotions, fines from key customers) were identified. 2. All the necessary ways to solve detected logistics problems were developed based on the scientific and practical literature. 3. A developed set of measures for improving the logistics system of the company were economically substantiated. As a result, return on equity in the strategic profit model has increased by 4.3%.
