Spaces of Harmonic Maps of the Projective Plane to the Four-dimensional Sphere

This dissertation investigates the spaces of harmonic maps of the projective plane to the four-dimensional sphere by means of twistor lifts. It was shown that such spaces are empty in the case of even degree. In the case of degree less than 6 was shown that such spaces are path-connected and was found an explicit parameterization of canonical representatives.
