Logistics Service Quality Improvement (Evidence from Panalpina CIS Helsinki)

The aim of Bachelor's Thesis is development of recommendations to improve logistics service quality of analyzed company. The Bachelor's Thesis tasks are: analysis of financial and logistical activities of the company; identification of the main quality problems in logistics service provided by company; literature sources research to identify possible solutions; analysis of economic efficiency of proposed activities. During the study the problem of reduction of provided service quality due to the increased number of mistakenly and late executed documents was identified. The object of Bachelor's Thesis is the business process of order fulfillment in «Panalpina CIS Helsinki». In the course of the Bachelor's Thesis the measures of reorganization of order fulfillment process and improvement of service quality level were proposed. Analysis of economic efficiency of proposed measures, conducted with strategic profit model, confirmed financial benefits of the proposed project realization.
