Enriques Surfaces of Degree 16 and Pencils of Plane Cubic Curves

In this paper we consder the Enriques surface of degree 16 and relate it with a rational elliptic surface, which is determined by a pencil of cubic curves on the projective plane. The base locus of this pencil determines 18 structures of an elliptic bundle on the Enriques surface.
