Factors that Affect Maintenance of a Healthy Lifestyle

Abstract In this paper we examine factors that determine the choice of keeping to a particular type of a lifestyle. We study how gender, marital status, weight, age and level of education influence on people aged 14-40 to choose a lifestyle pattern. The data we get from RLMS-HSE. We are going to use factor and cluster analyses in order to study the data as well as run a multinomial regression. The results of the regression show us that level of education positive effect on the type of a lifestyle. Also, we discovered that men tend to be healthier than women. Moreover, we confirmed that excess weight prevents leading healthy lifestyle. However, it was found out that marital status does not play a positive role in determining lifestyle pattern. Also, we observed that health level does not deteriorate with age.
