This paper provides a comparative experimental analysis of decision-making and economic behaviour between young students of Jewish Orthodox education institution (Yeshiva) in Israel and Russia. The research’s main point was to reveal the difference in level of honesty among religious people, their tendency to be deceitfulness and willingness to usurp others’ assets in the light of moral and religious norms. The research consisted of 2 experiments both of which were conducted in 2 countries. The experiments helped to distinguish differences between behaviour of religious people in two countries regarding dishonesty or selfishness and to determine whether this behaviour contradicts religious standards or not.
