The Improvement of Logistics Service Based on the Example of a Production Company

Food market at any time, has a special importance because of the special need for all consumers. High quality of service for manufacturers of consumer goods is an important priority. Selling of goods is a particularly important customer satisfaction. The object of this bachelor work is ‘distribution operations department' in the logistics department of a major international trading and manufacturing company that sells its products in the food market. The subject of the bachelor work is to determine measures to improve the quality of service of a logistics company. The aim of this work is the final qualifying work is to carry out the activities that will lead to improving the quality of logistics services of a company. As a result, the analysis of the distribution network has revealed the problem with transportation to key clients, which had a negative impact on the company’s costs, as well as logistics services. It is proposed to revise the scheme of distribution of goods to retail chains. Also solution is provided to reduce storage costs and reduce the volume of stocks. Volume of final thesis: number of pages - 86, number of figures - 26, number of tables - 17, references – 21.
