The Management Style of Preschool Educational Institutions in the Conditions of Change

ABSTRACT The changes taking place in the educational system due to the shift from the concept of "demand" to the pre-school education to the concept of "standard" of pre-school education have led to the changes in the organization of educational process as well as in the management of the organization. Hence the director of an educational organization is a driving force which can turn a functioning preschool organization into the evolving one [32; 33; 39]. Within the scope of master's thesis the analysis of theoretical approaches and studies in the management field has been carried out enabling us to give a tentative definition to the process of management in the phase of change. As to managing a team, the interconnection between managing practices and professional motivation of educators has been revealed. Having surveyed directors of educational organizations using the face-to-face method we have found current styles of making management decisions. The survey held among educators has allowed to find the most pronounced management component influencing the satisfaction which educators get from their professional activity. The key idea of the research is defining the way directors of educational organizations make management decisions in the time of changes boosting the professional motivation of educators.
