Development of Corporate Standards of Organization of Additional Education

The need for constant organizational changes, characterizing modern society, provides for establishment of guiding principles to be used by an organization's staff members. Systematization and standardization of activities help to avoid common mistakes and reduce managerial costs, thus proving the relevance of the master's thesis. This master's thesis is aimed at identifying the elements of corporate standards, description of their application, analysis of the current state and demand for it in the additional education system of St. Petersburg. The result of the research is the design model for standards and guidelines for their application based upon the trial project model. Structural elements of corporate standards were identified after the analysis of the sources. The approaches to the design of organizational changes and specific features of organizations for additional children education were described in the context of the study. Content analysis of the organizations websites prompted for the conclusion that the systematic work to develop corporate identity in such institutions is not taking place. The survey of employees identified the lack of systematic work in the area of standardization, but showed the relevance and demand for such standards, as well as their importance for the development of institutions. The design model of corporate standards was developed as part of the thesis, which contains 7 steps. The model takes into account the specificity of interaction between various subjects, performance monitoring management, tools and products of implementation stages.
