The Limits of Normativity in Representation about Bodily Practices for Example Online-Communities «40kg» and «Body Positive»

This thesis is focused on the study of the representations about the limits of the normality of bodily practices on the example of online communities "Body Positive" and "40 kg". The goal - to analyze the influence of the consumerism ideology on the representation about the limits of the normality of bodily practices. To do this, after a theoretical and methodological analysis of the factors shaping the representation of normality, a series of semi-structured interviews with participants of online communities was conducted. The main results of the study: a description of the characteristics of informants with different representation of normality and the identification of factors that influence on the formation of these representations.
