The research analyzes the reform of Bismarck model of pension insurance and the reform of Beveridge model of universal pensions on the examples of Germany and the UK within the process of intensification of flows of foreign labor. The study considers demographic changes in Western countries which decrease the share of the working-age population and increase the burden on the pension system, but the consequences of which can be reduced by attracting labour migrants from other countries. The author raises the question of the impact of foreign labour on the process of reforming standards of governing pension provision in Germany and the UK.
