Estimating the Probability of Discontinuance of Trade Acquiring Service by Sberbank Clients

This paper is devoted to modeling the probability of customers refusal of ZUB PJSC Sberbank from the service of merchant acquiring. There was made a qualitative and econometric analysis of acquiring service customers. The data was provided by ZUB PJSC Sberbank for the period from January 2016 to October 2016. Qualitative analysis revealed a client who could potentially refuse the service of merchant acquiring in ZUB PJSC Sberbank. Such client has 1 terminal, a tariff of 2.17% and monthly turnover of 118.741 rubles. Econometric analysis also revealed factors that may affect customer’s decision. These factors are "Number of terminals for a legal entity", "Difference in total turnover" and the following industries: Restaurants, Household and computer equipment stores and Other. The developed logistic model has an average quality and correctly classifies 85.16% of events.
