In the paper Flashmob as a instrument of mobility by the Example of "#янебоюсьсказать" (I Am Not Afraid to Say), I discuss the user's perception of a flash mob on the Internet. In the theory of social actions, there is a contradiction in the analysis of flashmob: on the one hand it acts as a tool for engaging new supporters or as a tool for mobilizing users with established beliefs The author considers this problem from two points of view: from the theoretical point of view through the theory of selective perception and practical through the conduct of a qualitative study based on the theoretical conceptualization of the problem and the analysis of flashmobs. Comparing the data obtained, the author found out that the ability to participate in the action is influenced directly by the reaction to the basic ideas of flashmob and evaluation of the effectiveness of the action.
