Blocking Sites in the Internet in the Context of the Implementation of Constitutional Rights and Freedoms of Citizens

As part of the master's thesis, the whole complex of legal norms in the Russian Federation that regulate the grounds and procedure for restricting access to information on the Internet is being investigated. The ratio of the order established by the legislation with the rights and freedoms fixed both by the Constitution of the Russian Federation and at the level of international acts is given. A number of legal problems, arising both from the norms of law themselves and from the applicable practice, are identified, appropriate proposals for their solution are made. For the possibility of further application in Russia, the world experience of blocking websites on the Internet using the example of various states, including the United States, Great Britain, France, China, Iran, North Korea was also studied.
