E.I. Filin Influence of Anti-Doping Legislation on Labor Relations Athletes and Coaches This graduate paper is aimed at examining anti-doping legislation and its interaction with labor and law, analysis of their interaction with criminal law after new amendments to the criminal code of Russia, examining of anti-doping rules in the Russian legislation. The main objectives of the paper are: (a) studying Russian and international anti-doping legislation (b) studying foreign criminal law on anti-doping (c) analysis of their interaction with labor law. Based on this research the following conclusions were made: firstly, international anti-doping rules have a number of significant shortcomings, for example, inaccuracy of legal formulations in the definition of doping; secondly, there are still many unresolved problems that contribute to the spread of doping in professional sports; thirdly, in the world there is a lot of experience in combating doping through criminal legislation (especially in France and Switzerland); fourthly, it is necessary to supplement the labor code of Russia with additional articles and provisions in order to improve the fight against doping.
