The Asia-Pacific region is one of the most promising for today. For a long time, China has been a regional leader and acts as a guarantor of peace and stability. Now the PRC is gradually entering a new qualitative level of development and claiming of a new superpower status. New initiatives RCEP and "One-Way One Way" reflect the growing ambitions of China.    Nowadays, PRC is the main investor and driving force ofthe implementation of RCEP and OBOR initiatives. The process of negotiations started simultaneously in the beginning of the 2010s. However, there is no unified policy and institutional mechanism for the interaction of projects. The goals and list of the participants of RCEP and OBOR projects are mainly the same and this can cause a conflict of interests between involved countries. The process of the simultaneous implementation of these initiatives is timeconsuming. According to these facts, further coexistence of projects can be questioned.    In the framework of this research, there is an analysis of the prospects of realisation and the possible interaction of the two initiatives.
