Abstract «Religious conflicts in the political process of Ukraine in 2013-2016» In the course of this study the relationship between religion and politics on the basis of the Ukrainian society processes in the period from 2013 to 2016 was examined. This work gives an overview of the Ukrainian state policy towards reli-gious organizations. It reveals issues between the state and the most significant Orthodox denominations. During the crisis in the Ukrainian government in 2013 - 2016 years reli-gion wasn’t the main, but rather important factor in the protests. Analyzing the events of the given period, we can clearly see how exactly the denomina-tions take part in the protest actions, how they contribute to the political struggle and what benefits they get from the structures that came into power after the protests. This study helps to trace alive sequence of events. It give san opportuni-ty to draw conclusions about the existing problems and the attempts to solve them. Revealing the aspects of the interaction between political changes and religious transformations is an interesting and relevant problem, because rela-tions between the church and the state are in its formative stage and may vary depending on current events.
