The topic of visual research “Color code in football uniform. Color and graphic.” The research paper focuses on study of football uniforms’ history of teams which has ever took part in FIFA World Championships. Graphic brand is important case for identification of any team. Colors, graphic, patterns — all this helps identify team during the game and even outside the stadium. Graphic brand is important case in connection between football team and fan. The research looks like a catalog of different countries’ uniforms which were in a championship’s history (from 1930 to 2014). The book form is a variation of pantone fan which is based on color code. During the study I analyzed photo-sources, game audio recordings, magazines papers. There is a chronological principal of book’s structure. An infographic based on trends analyses of color code in football uniforms and some interesting facts from football history, game’s statistic too. The purpose of study is finding principals of making a color code and ways how it is used. Each team’s uniform is unique, all of them in comparison makes understanding of deep variations even in case of limited color code ways. Everything is important from color of collar to height of lines in uniform. Based on analyzed information and searched elements I will design a range of football souvenirs for my diploma project of making a football souvenirs brand of collectible editions and series of items.
