The study is devoted to the study of memory practices in Russian social media and their involvement in ritualized practices. The research is based on materials obtained from the social network "Vkontakte" and includes both direct analysis of content and its rethinking in the context of general theoretical studies devoted to the theory of ritual, studies of sociology and anthropology of death, anthropology of media.
