Usage of Mobile Fitness Technologies for Monitoring of Health and Physical Activity

Different fitness technologies, including fitness tracking devises, fitness apps, wearable devises give an account of biometrical data of human health. Digital self-monitoring of health and fitness activity by the use of mobile phones and wearable technologies might be a new trend of our nowadays lifestyle. Digital technologies are going to be a big part of human future. This research is based on reviewing and collecting information from other works on wearable technologies and portable devises; although the key parts of the research are quantitate interviews with different types of fitness technology’s users and also an analysis of fitness technologies market. This work consists of introduction, the main part which consists of two heads. Chapter 1 is dedicated to the theory of mobile fitness technologies, their appearance and history of portable technologies. Chapter 2 is dedicated to influence of mobile fitness technologies on people and their lifestyle. The results of this research are believed to help scientist in healthcare and sport areas, to sociologist and media specialists.
