Legal and Media Notions of Censorship in Russia (on the Instance of K.Raykin's Speech (24.10.2016)

The main purpose of this graduation paper is to define the understanding of censorship in contemporary mediasphere . The choice of the theme is motivated by the speech of Konstantin Raikin at the Congress of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation, during which he raised the main issues of modern understanding of censorship in the theatrical sphere. In the course of the research, the author defines legal interpretation of censorship, and then compares it with the understanding of censorship by representatives of the cultural sphere members and reveals the main differences between these two concepts.
