There are two approaches to issue management in corporate communications. The first is the solution of the problem of public relations. That is the impact on the public, with a view to changing its perception of a problem. The second is the startegic issue management that includes solution of the real problem together with the public by strategic communications. Strategic communications within the framework of public relations is a relatively new concept. Strategic communications of the industrial facility of the Russian company have not been studied. The purpose of this work is to determine the approach to strategic issue management that is used by representatives of the Russian Copper Company.
