Comprehensive Assessment of "Finance" Master's Program Quality for Subsequent Instructional Redesign

Education quality management is a key condition for universities development in a competitive position. The purpose of the research is to work out an approach to evaluation of program education quality by the example of master's program “Finance”. This program is realized by economic department of NRU HSE – Nizhny Novgorod. Taking into consideration some data of Russian and foreign researches helps to make the following conclusion. Evaluation of education programs is defined not only by formal indicators, but also stakeholders evaluation of this education quality. The difference in the main stakeholders perception of education program characteristics can lead to the wrong management decisions and loss of program quality. The research results are based on stakeholders’ survey and interviewing. This data is characterized by stakeholders’ evaluation of program education quality. Research findings enabled to reveal contradictions in stakeholders perception of education program, formulate “weak points (problem) points” of education program and also define redesign directions, which help to improve education quality.
