This research demonstrates the analyses of feminist interpretation of Niccolo Machiavelli's philosophy based on "Fortune is a woman: gender and politics in the thought of Niccolò Machiavelli" by Hanna Pitkin. The paper shows key points of feminist interpretation method, Machiavelli's attitude to women and the difference between the private and the public in his philosophy.
