Student: Andreeva Vera

Supervisor: Maria Klyuchevskaya

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Design (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2017

The diploma work includes the development of children's clothing for boys and girls from 1 to 6 years old from natural fabrics with the use of game elements that develop small motor skills of the child and act as portable toys. My main goal in the provision of help was the treatment and satisfaction of the child in the dressing process. I wanted that the attitude to things was not only as a subject of the wardrobe, but also as a toy that you can carry with you, or rather yourself. Also one of the main goals for me was to create an ecologically clean collection in which the child felt comfortable, so I used a fabric made of natural fiber. For the outfits was chosen, uncomplicated and not complicated by a multitude of additional elements. The colors are close to natural tones. To create the collection, I was inspired by vintage black and white photographs of the early 20th century with images of American children in typical clothes of that time. The collection is designed for the spring-summer season 2017 so it is dominated by such things as: light panties, shorts on suspenders, longsleeves, knitted overalls - everything in which it is easy to run, jump, play sandbox.
