Methods of Collecting Raw Data in the System of Official Statistics: Accordance and Completeness of Accounting Processes

The paper analyzes the imperfections in the methods of collecting primary information on inland water transport activities. The proposals for their overcoming for the subsequent increase of the reliability of official statistical information and reducing financial and time costs, are developed. The main conclusion of the research is that the quality of official statistical information on inland water transport activity calls into question its practical application for the purposes of the state regulation and development of inland waterways and domestic navigation.
