Prevention of Extremism Among Young People in the Russian Federation

The present study is focused on the examination of basic issues in the field of combating youth extremism. This project presents dominant forms of and reasons for the manifestation of the extremism, as well as countermeasures to this social phenomenon. The research pays close attention to youth extremism as the most dangerous process in the modern society. The author’s definition of “youth extremism” is given in the work. Represented criminally-legal and criminological characteristic of crimes. The problem of preventing extremist activities is also discussed.
