Decision Support System for Automated MCU Selection to Designing Products Electronic and Computer Technology

Student: Korotchenko Dmitry

Supervisor: Andrey Vishnekov

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Computer Systems and Networks (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2017

The choice of a microcontroller in the electronic and computer products design is a complex multicriteria task with a large amount of alternatives. To date, tasks of this kind are solved mainly on the basis of preferences or skills of the developer. This approach inevitably leads to subjectivism and unjustified exclusion from consideration of a number of alternative microcontrollers. This work is aimed at automating the selection process through the use of decision support methods. This approach will allow you to reduce the time spent and simplify the procedure for finding the most rational solution to the task.
