The Russian Old Believer Churches and the Ukraine Crisis (2013-2016)

The dissertation examines the features of the politicization of russian old believers churches in Russia and Ukraine in the ukrainian crisis (2013-2016). Design of the research work is based on theoretical elaboration and conceptual analysis backed by empirical material using qualitative case - study.

Moreover, the work gives the comparative analysis to identify interregional differences in the process of politicization in these two countries. The dissertation reveals the factors of the politicization of russian old believers churches and determines its specificity and character.
