Journalism
(Bachelor’s programme)
2017
This project is intended to cover the major issues of the use of animation in the news and cinema on the example of plane crashes. It is devoted to the study of the whole industry of video production including the news, television programs and cinematograph in 2005-2017. In this field animation acts as an instrument of reconstructing reality and recreating scenes and objects that can not be filmed by camera. The problem of the research is based on the idea that use of animation may appear to be speculative and manipulative. The issue deserves closer examination in order to study how to work with animation techniques with the greatest possible objectivity and efficiency.
