In this paper I consider not only aspects of the design of the environment, but also their interrelationship With research in the field of pedagogy and psychology. Modern children began to outstrip the previous generations in speed of development, their minds and worldview become wider, but if the child is not given the opportunity to explore different possibilities of cognizing the world, at some point he will lose this ability or choose the path of least resistance, ruining the rudiments of nonstandard And creative thinking, so necessary for the modern man. The modern environment in preschool institutions definitely needs to adapt to the needs and interests of the 21st century generation.
