The Image of the “Political Prisoner” in Modern Russia in the Official, Semi-Official and Independent Media

The work researches the image of "political prisoner" in Russia today in an official, semi-official and independent liberal press. The work deals with such publishers as "the Russian newspaper", "Novaya newspaper" and the newspaper "Izvestia". The author reveals images of artistic expression used by the authors of the articles in the newspapers and clarifies the role of political prisoners in the history of Russia at the moment. The author also explains how transforming the understanding of "political prisoners" in history.
