The concept of entropy, the basic subject of information theory, is a measure of fuzziness in fuzzy set. This study is an attempt to use fuzzy entropy method to remove the noise from an image. The image noise is reduced by the functional obtained depending on fuzzy entropy method. This research is aimed to contribute to the studies in various fields, for instance in the field of public health. Key words: fuzzy sets, fuzzy entropy, image denoising problem.
