New Museum Souvenir with Using the Technology of Virtual Reality

Student: Yakushina Daria

Supervisor: Alexandra Kuznetsova

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Design (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2017

The author's theme of the diploma is related to the creation of spaces of virtual reality on the basis of well-known paintings of fine art, presented in the form of 360-degree rollers. Specificity of perception of such clips is that the viewer watches them through the phone in glasses of virtual reality. That is why it is wrong to perceive this space exclusively as a volume. The screen of the phone is a plane, and therefore our perception that we see a three-dimensional space is nothing more than an optical illusion. During his diploma, the author was able to study the types of illusions, on the example of paintings by famous artists, create videos, an application, as well as additional souvenir products.
