Transformation of Japanese Management - Past, Present and Future

The diploma work name: «Transformation of Japanese Management - Past, Present and Future». The diploma work consists of 61 pages, which include: introduction, three chapters, conclusion and references. This work focuses on the study of Japanese production management and human resource management. Due to globalization, socio-economic and demographic changes in Japan, modification of individual methods of the Japanese management model became evident. Methodology includes the study of domestic and foreign literature, statistical analyses and content analysis of organizations’ records, companies’ documents, websites and surveys provided by government-related organizations. The purpose of this study is to determine the Japanese style of management at the present stage and to provide a brief outlook of the further development of the Japanese management system. Therefore, in this research the key aspects of management practices in Japanese companies are first discussed from a historical and cultural perspectives. Next, the recent trends and changes in Japanese management practices are introduced. Finally, based on the analysis of the current changes, the outlook of the Japanese management system’s development will be provided.
