Preparation of a rhythmic gymnastics performance is rather complicated process, which require following specific scoring rules (Code of Points) and assume extensive arithmetic calculations. Performance rating system given by the International Gymnastics Federation is constantly changing. Therefore, the preparation for contests takes substantial amount of time and participants frequently receive penalties for their improperly prepared programs. Concerning the judgment of rhythmic gymnastics performances, its quality depends on attentional capacity, reaction skills, developed foveal vision, strong arithmetic skills and excellent knowledge of rules. The main purpose of this project is to develop the system, which will be able to significantly improve the process of creation and evaluation the rhythmic gymnastics performance. Application of the system will help coaches in program constructing as well as judges in detecting errors in performance. Such system becomes especially relevant on the assumption of the last modifications in the performance rating system. On the basis of this changes judges compelled to refuse any documental representation of program, which all participants without exception previously prepared for a contest. Now they are compelled to assess performances without prearranged document, what is considerably convolute judgment procedure. There are no instruments nowadays to resolve this problem.
