Electric Power Industry Analyses: Strategic Opportunities and Evaluation of Attractiveness

Within the framework of this work, there has been carried out a strategic analysis of the electric power industry in Russia. The influence of macro-environment and the competitive environment factors within the industry on the position of companies in it was determined in the course of the analysis. For this, the PEST(E) analysis and model of the five forces of M.Porter were used. Based on the data analyzed through these tools in the course of the work, there were made some conclusions about the possible options in this industry and an assessment of the industry's attractiveness.
