Analysis and Forecasting of Soft Drinks Price Formation Using Cloud-based Technologies

Price formation is one of the topics that has been discussed for last forty years, and every couple of years brings its new special contribution to this topic. Besides, in addition to the theoretical basis, forming of prices always has practical realization. The present paper describes a proposed study that will seek to explore pricing, its analyzing and forecasting with use of cloud-based technology. Analysis will focus on the concept of disclosure such aspects as price modeling at current soft-drinks manufacturer and realization with modern cloud computing. This study will be guided by the following questions: What is the theoretical basis of price formation? What pros and cons have cloud technologies? How to apply them to conduct a price policy of FMCG-company? The purpose of this study is to analyze and forecast prices for non-alcoholic beverages using cloud-based technologies. The advantages and disadvantages of “clouds” were examined, as well as the methods of price formation at beverages market The key outputs of the research project include the theoretical base of price modelling and cloud technologies, finalization of the price forecast model and the template of an analytical dashboard in purpose to better understanding results of modelling by managers. The study makes an attempt to improve the managers’ performance by better compiled indicators. Definitely, this approach needs to be improved and it is the subject for further study.
