Sequent Changes of a Comparative Advantage in an Economy in Transition (Evidence of China)

At the turn of the XXI century a number of former planned economy countries joined the international economic exchange and began to develop foreign economic relations. Before that, such countries were relatively isolated from the world economy, and now they are actively involved in this process. Therefore, the question – to what extent the development of foreign trade relation of these countries is subject to the theories of international trade and, in particular, the theory of comparative advantages in its various variants. Among these countries are China and Russia.
