The Perspectives of Development of Real Estate Leasing in the Investment Activity

This paper analyzes the influence of various factors on the value of new leasing contracts of real estate. The sample consists of data for 20 Russian leasing companies for the period from 2012 to 2016. According to the results of the study, revealed, that the increase in the lease portfolio in real estate transactions, the number of transactions,value of new contracts for the previous year has a positive effect on the dependent variable, and the increase in the rate of leasing percent and the number of employees has a negative effect. The empirical study also investigated the dependence of the value of new contracts for real estate leasing companies to their belonging to banking groups, where it was discovered that "Bank" leasing companies are characterized by lower value of new contracts of leasing of real estate.
