’Military Aspects’ of Public Diplomacy in Israel (2010-2015)

This thesis will discuss Military Aspects of Public Diplomacy in Israel (2010-2015). The purpose of this study is to analyze Why does Israel decide to use the military aspects of public diplomacy (2010-2015). The author found that this policy is interesting, because Israel is a pioneer in the development of public diplomacy in the first two Decades of the twenty-first century, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) engage in public diplomacy with social media also made harder possibility to maintain peace in Israel crisis with hard power and soft power simultaneously. This descriptive analysis will use concept of soft power and framework of foreign policy making process. The results can be concluded that IDF participation based on domestic and international factors. Significantly, the domestic factors that affect are Supporting the Benjamin Netanyahu policy and IDF role in crisis communication. while International factors are Countering the HAMAS supporter and International coverage in global media
