Perception of Dickens in Works of Dostoevsky: Theme of Childhood

In the work "The reception of Charles Dickens in the works of FM Dostoevsky" the main trends, theoretical positions and representatives of the schools of receptive aesthetics are examined; Traces the history of translations and publications of works by Charles Dickens in Russia; A comparative analysis of children's images in the works of C. Dickens and F. M. Dostoevsky. The urgency of the work is due to the use of psychological analysis when comparing children's images of the works of FM Dostoevsky and Charles Dickens. The work has a practical solution: on the basis of the materials obtained in the course of the study, a lesson was developed and conducted in the secondary school for pupils of grade 9.
