This paper is devoted to the analysis of the ethical problem of the transformation of war. Despite the fact that throughout the centuries the problem of war has been the subject of theoretical reflection, disputes about the content of the notion of war do not cease. The modern armed conflict is characterized by the state losing its monopoly on unleashing and waging war. The state met a new threat - the emergence of new forms of war (terrorism), new spheres of war - cyberwar. The paper examines new forms of war for the correspondence of the theory of just war.
