The SCO as an Important Factor in Fight Against Terrorism in Central Asia

The SCO plays an important role in fight against terrorism in Central Asia. Projects in the sphere of fight against terrorism include the work of the regional Аnti-terrorist structure, the fight against drug traffic and anti-terrorist exercises. The participating countries are succeed in ensuring security and stability in the region, but at the same time face some troubles, such as drug traffic from Afghanistan, the internal problems of the participating countries (corruption, social tensions), structural design of Organization, competition of major political players in the region.
