Influence of Cultural Differences on the Decision-making Process: the Case of Russian and American IT-startups' Executives

The proposed study examines influence of national culture on strategic decision-making process of Russian and American startup`s CEOs. Analysis of 30 strategic decision-making processes was conducted and all the cases were programmed according to Mintzberg’s methodology. Differences in decision-making process were identified and some general recommendations to Russian CEOs to improve process on each step were given. Also the direction of future research was described.
