Automation of the State Housing Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Business Processes Using the Process Approach Models

The process based approach includes methods, techniques, and tools to support the design, enactment, management, and analysis of operational business processes. It can be considered as an extension of classical Workflow Management (WFM) systems and approaches. Although the practical relevance of the process approach is undisputed, a number of examples of application is missing. In this paper the variant of realization of reengineering on the example of a state agency using appropriate methods is viewed. The research finds out problems places within the organization and describes re-engineering of business processes on the level of existing structural units using new information system. The chosen system for automation is compared with other systems. Moreover, after critically examining this paper also discusses myths that often hamper implementation processes, because successfully implementing information systems appears to be a difficult task.
