Educational Programme: Management (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2017

Nowadays entrepreneurship scholars shift the focus of attention at the interaction of multiple actors that constitute entrepreneurial ecosystems. But there is still no known general method to determine factors for evaluating the development of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. The research is mainly focused on influential models and explains their complex meaning. Based on these approaches a new technique for evaluating the development of the business ecosystem of Nizhny Novgorod region can be introduced. The study is divided into two stages: measuring inputs of entrepreneurial ecosystem (financing, visibility, support, education, networks) and outputs (density, fluidity, diversity, quality of life). The results could advance the understanding of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. The proposed framework is expected to support policymakers and practitioners in setting up new entrepreneurial ecosystems and serve as a basis for future research.
