The purpose of this paper is to research the concept of e-commerce, consideration of its species and the problems that arise in this field, as well as carrying out research, which will show the results of the analysis of e-commerce development in Russia and the difficulties in the application of e-commerce on the Internet. Objectives of the paper: - To analyze the development of electronic commerce in Russia. - To study the legal framework governing the activities of organizations in the field of electronic commerce in Russia; - To analyze the activity of a successful online store for studying its strategies and methods of doing business in a highly competitive and crisis environment; - To identify the main illegal actions that violate the activities of online stores and Internet banking. Results of the study: Successful solution of the set tasks allowed to achieve certain results in this work. There are many problems in the field of e-commerce due to the lack of statutory provisions regulating the organization of e-commerce on the Internet. Analyzing the main indicators of the development of e-commerce in Russia, it was revealed that the main share of this is Internet commerce, namely, trade and procurement activities, the transfer of data, goods and services electronically. The activity of the online store "Lamoda" was successfully analyzed, which allowed to study in detail the process of e-commerce on the example of this organization. The main illegal actions in this area were identified.
