Educational Programme: Information Science and Computation Technology (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2017

This graduation thesis is dedicated to the development of an «Energy Generating Chair» hardware system. During the work several physical effects and devices, based on these effects, were analysed, two of them were chosen according to criteria, methods and algorithms of building the elements were defined, and also a simulation of separate elements was conducted. The work consists of six sections. In the first section there is a review of the existing furniture systems for energy generation. In the second section there is a main goal stated and objectives to reach it. In the third section the structure of the project is defined, a review and a choice for the realization of the devices, generating energy on the basis of physical effects are made, and the algorithms of building the elements are introduced. In the fourth section a model of an «Energy Generating Chair» system is developed. In the fifth section there is a simulation of a basic element conducted. In the sixth section there is a structure test conducted based on the basic element. As a result, a model of an «Energy Generating Chair» system was developed, dedicated for generation of electroenergy, served in an accumulator with a further possibility to charge different devices from it. The proposed system can be effectively intergrated into everyday life and into different institutes, where a long stay of people in a sitting position is expected. This graduation thesis contains 43 pages, This work also contains 16 illustrations, 1 table of comparative analyses and 31 information sources.
